• Developed and implemented newly created fundraising position within the Advancement Department, with the purpose of serving as liaison between the Parents Association, Booster Club and administrators and staff at St. John’s, and leading volunteers in community building and fundraising efforts• Lead planning, communication efforts and implementation of revenue-generating events such as the school auction, carnival, book fair, holiday hayride, golf tournament, and raffle• Oversee the corporate sponsorship efforts, including developing sponsorship levels and benefits, researching potential donor leads, donor solicitation, and serving as communication lead with donors for the St. John’s Community Partner program, a program which generates over $100k+ yearly for St. John’s• Improved silent auction processes and best practices to realize a 128% increase in silent auction revenue from $41k to $92k over a six-year period; improved overall auction processes (including live auction, teacher experiences, wine and whiskey pull, etc.) to realize a 100% increase from $140k to $280k in revenue over a six-year period• Work with vendors for event rentals; responsible for negotiating and reviewing contracts, paying deposits and invoices, and coordinating event staffing, delivery and day of logistics• Develop communications materials and coordinate marketing efforts to promote Parents Association and Booster Club events through dedicated emails and newsletters, social media (including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook), the St. John’s Parent Portal, and mailers• Coordinate design and purchase of spirit wear for the School spirit shop and management of the spirit shop budget• Reimagined and initiated virtual events to continue fundraising initiatives during the pandemic, including virtual trivia night, virtual 5k fun run, virtual auction, coin drive, and used sports equipment drive
