In completing this project, I co-authored Lalela's Female Empowerment Evaluation Report. I also assisted in facilitating after-school arts classes designed to develop creative thinking skills in students from under-served communities in Cape Town.

I built infrastructure and capacity built for a new pilot program that connects people experiencing homelessness in the Redwood City area with mental health resources. I also facilitated a series of self-improvement workshops for a team of 30 people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity and led a project in partnership with the Redwood City public library to start a new community garden maintained by volunteers from the Downtown Streets Team.

As a Volunteer Infrastructure Fellow, I built a sustainable volunteer program nearly from scratch, working with over 100 volunteers over the course of the year and navigating the complexities of volunteer engagement at the height of the pandemic. In the process, I raised over $3,000 in cash and in-kind donations, overseeing a donation increase of over 100% for the Redwood City office.
