I've always believed in the power of community and connection in all forms--especially our built environment. I feel energized and driven to work to create more sustainable, safe, inclusive, and vibrant places for the good of our fellow humans and our planet. While seeking a solution to vandalism in our neighborhood park in New Hampshire several years ago, I developed a passion for community-led beautification and improvement initiatives for public spaces. Since then, I’ve continued learning and researching the latest developments in placemaking and built environment fields and I’ve implemented over a dozen community and built environment enhancement projects in New Hampshire and Connecticut. Over the course of my career, I have co-founded 2 successful businesses, I’ve been the executive director of a non-profit organization with a 6-figure annual budget, and the marketing and public relations director for a renowned private music school. Most recently I served as chair of our town’s bicycle and pedestrian committee. Connection is the through line in my life’s work. I really enjoy being able to serve and uplift our fellow human beings through the creation and implementation of projects and programs that make our communities more livable, inclusive, and vibrant. I’d like to be able to take on more responsibilities in this area and have a broader impact over the next five years.
