• Transcribed and/or prepared legal documents, including powers of attorney, health care powers, abstracts, trusts and trust amendments, wills and codicils. Notarized documents when required. • Prepared and assembled federal and California exemption applications for numerous private foundations and public charities; submitted same to appropriate taxing authorities and agencies, including Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board, California Secretary of State, and California Attorney General. • Prepared ruling requests and deletion statements for submission to Internal Revenue Service. • Created and submitted grant deeds to county recorders in California and other jurisdictions; interactions with title company. • Prepared and submitted probate documents to appropriate California courts; sent out notices of hearing to service list. • Handled consistently heavy telephone call load composed of high profile clients. • Recorded attorney time on timesheets for calculation of billable hours. Interfaced with Records and Accounting departments in preparation of new clients, matters, and files, as well as client bills. • Trained newly hired personnel; created desk manual for Personal Planning procedures.
