I'm a passionate library educator and information professional with experience in a variety of settings helping job seekers be successful in their search. I bring a unique skill set of Human Resource, Recruiting, and Professional Development experiences to my library work. Because of this background, I created a new program at the Wallingford Public Library in 2020 where I help all types of individuals with their job search needs. From creating a resume for the first time, to interview preparation for director-level positions, I provide one-on-one assistance to people of all backgrounds, abilities, experiences, and industries to gain skills to be able to apply for the job of their dreams. I pride myself on creating classroom experiences that translate into practical skills and knowledge. I provide adult instruction on job-related topics in the classroom, ranging from resume and cover letter creation, to interview preparation and using LinkedIn in a job search. I have experience teaching groups how to use library databases, such as JobNow, in their job search.
