As a graduate researcher for the Chef Ann Foundation (CAF), I work with a team of two other graduate students to deliver a variety of content for this project. Our first deliverable of a GIS map and a qualitative Survey, which informed a Recruitment and Enrollment strategy for CAF's Colorado Workforce Development Program (HSFP).

Co-founded a chapter of Plant Futures Initiative (PFI) at CU Boulder. PFI is a non-profit focused on getting students into sustainable food and plant based product careers. As the Boulder chapter co-founder, I registered the organization with the school, organized professional events, created SOPs and managing frameworks and built a community of individuals inside and outside of the school to better support students in the club.

Began work as a bartender, then was asked to step into the role of creating and managing events for a locally owned restaurant group. Created new literature and contracts for groups to plan events in private sections of the business. Oversaw customer relations and worked directly with another manager as a team to make sure the business was fully covered during the busy season. While running the Events Program, maintained other positions such as bartending and shift lead.

After a devastating natural disaster, created a 501(c)(3) with a local churches help. Partnered with another non-profit group (Black Forest Together) to help raise money and bring aid to the over 500 families that lost their homes. The non profits role was to organize fundraisers for supplies and with the support of multiple local businesses it raised over $1,000 in supplies and increased donations of used items. Planned and participated in multiple fire mitigation efforts through call banks and physical labor, lifting up to 50lbs of weight. Assisted in managing donation item drop offs to families and firefighters.

Worked with a team of three others to curate the social media content and outreach for President Obama's re-election campaign specific to Southern Colorado Springs. Through social media we were able to increase attendance to events (ie phone banks, rallies, canvassing) by up to 22% over the six-months before the 2012 election. Over this same time period, over 1140 new emails were added through grassroots outreach (phone calling, door-to-door, promotion at events) to our potential volunteer lists. After the campaign, I continued to manage the OFA Pikes Peak Region Facebook page for almost a year before turning it over to the next manager.
