My current work is in continuing education for healthcare professionals. I have experience with successfully leading the effort for an organization to obtain accreditation as an ACPE-accredited provider. My expertise is in aligning educational activities and programs with accreditation requirements to create innovative and effective education programs.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities within the College of Pharmacy, I hold an appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the UT Graduate School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine. I participate in interdisciplinary team rounds on the inpatient teaching teams at UT Medical Center. I work with Family Medicine residents to optimize drug therapy for patients while in the hospital and assist with transitions of care. In my role, I also precept pharmacy residents and pharmacy students on clinical rotation.

In addition to my responsibilities on campus, I practiced in adult internal medicine at James A Haley Veteran's Administration Hospital in Tampa, FL where I precepted fourth year pharmacy students on APPE rotation.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities on campus, I held an appointment as an adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. I practiced with the Family Medicine adult inpatient service at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, where I precepted fourth year pharmacy students on APPE rotation. I also participated in Family Medicine resident education.
