I am a visual storyteller with over 20 years of industry experience creating graphics and driving business through special events, social media, and marketing campaigns. I have worked with major brands, including SHI, Siemens, Nexstar, the City of Austin, LCRA, JLL, Chase Bank, Wells Fargo, Estee Lauder, Bebe, Ariat, Tommy Bahama, and Starbucks. Building successful startups from a simple bright idea to full-blown market success isn't always glamorous, but it's always exciting. I spent my early days in San Francisco, sitting on the floor talking movies and strategizing ways to mail video tapes to renters. Later, I found myself designing luxury handbags in a warehouse in San Carlos. There was always a fun outcome - we sold the movie rental company, which allowed me to get my master's degree, and now I get to point out actresses carrying my bags in movies I watch with my daughters.Joining the AEC Community full-time when I moved to Austin was a happy coincidence - it immediately introduced me to our city's significant buildings AND connected me with a lively AEC community. Austin is evolving daily, and it's an exciting time to be part of the community making it happen!
