As a Chairperson for Spirit Racing Systems, I manage and direct executive board members in weekly meetings to discuss new challenges and updates, and perform budget management tasks such as preparing annual budgets and monitoring donations and spending. In addition to overseeing over 100 students to guarantee safe practices, I plan student engagement events and organize team documents. Finally, I communicate with alumni to solicit guidance, establish improved strategies and increase outreach.

As a mechanic for the Carnegie Mellon Spirit Racing Systems Buggy Team, I build and maintain buggy vehicles for weekly practices and race days, and ensure driver safety by sweeping the track free of debris and setting up barriers along the roads. Additionally, I assist drivers in loading and unloading from their vehicles and perform routine safety checks in compliance with safety protocol.

In this role, I facilitate and oversee annual foundation budget using Excel software and created and presented promotional videos to federal employees in the D.C., MD, and VA areas in order to fundraise for foundation projects. In addition to technology services, I write content summarizing collaborations with other non-profit organizations and projects aiming to promote quality education and health worldwide.

As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern, I created over 4 exhaustive testing structures to collect and analyze data between new and pre-existing solutions, as well as transitioned the testing structure from global to per-thread page tables to track inconsistent memory accesses and allow page table shuffling. Additionally, I implemented virtual and physical address shuffling to further stress the memory management unit, and recommended and executed optimizations in the kernel by analyzing algorithms and leading debug sessions.

As a Senator for NSBE, I collect and analyze current chapter membership data to increase participation in the organization, and organize social and educational events to increase annual membership and create a welcoming community. Furthermore, on the national level, I vote for the interests of the Carnegie Mellon NSBE Chapter at the NSBE National Convention

For my role as a Virtual Facilitator in the NSBE SEEK Program, I teach over 80 3rd-8th grade students about fundamental engineering processes such as design and improvement cycles as well as create daily lesson plans and curriculum to keep students engaged and excited about learning. In addition, I guide underrepresented youth with hands-on projects including programming robots, coding games, and flying drones, while encouraging these students to pursue STEM careers and increase diversity in the engineering field.

As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Apple, I designed a comprehensive block diagram detailing all connections throughout an embedded system, as well as created schematics using Cadence Allegro PCB design software. Additionally, I collaborated with electrical, software, and mechanical engineers to design, test and validate system prototypes, and inspected datasheets to ensure the validity of circuit designs and validate power architectures among electronic devices. Finally, I designed tests through Python scripts to collect and analyze data to characterize the behavior of power measurement tools

As a Social Chair for the oSTEM chapter at Carnegie Mellon University, I plan and host social events to promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity in STEM majors at Carnegie Mellon University, and recruit and welcome new members to the organization by creating a safe space for students to express themselves. Similarly, I coordinate with other Carnegie Mellon student identity organizations to prioritize intersectionality.

In this role, I developed a basic music skills curriculum for beginners in music and viola performance and corresponded with parents and school administrators about students’ progress of basic music skills and orchestra performance. Additionally, I arranged two orchestra student recitals during a church service so students can perform for parents and church congregation.
