Summer 2023 Marketing Internship, PAR Group, ChorleyI secured an internship in the marketing department at PAR Group to gain practical experience before starting university and to further develop my marketing knowledge. During this internship, I honed my skills in Excel, spreadsheets, and pivot tables, as well as general administrative tasks. I contributed to email marketing campaigns using E-Shots and worked on digital marketing strategies across various social media platforms. Additionally, I assisted in creating Instagram posts and used MOZ to analyze and improve website performance through Search Engine Optimization (SEO).Community Project, Think Pacific (June-July 2023)I completed over 240 hours of international work experience through Think Pacific, participating in a community build project in the village of Delakado, Fiji. During this time, I collaborated with the local government to build a health center, which was supplied with essential medical equipment, vaccines, and sanitary products. This experience significantly enhanced my leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills, as well as my ability to work independently and with resilience in challenging environments.Volunteering and Part-Time Employment (2020-2022)I volunteered as a swimming instructor with Chorley Marlins, teaching children competitive swimming techniques. Through this role, I developed leadership skills, managing large groups of swimmers, and enhanced my communication by liaising effectively with both swimmers and parents. In December 2021, I earned my Lifeguarding and Level 1 Teaching certifications and was offered a part-time position as a Swimming Teacher and Lifeguard at Leyland Leisure Centre. These roles further strengthened my time management, leadership, and risk assessment skills in a professional setting
