Most people look at something and see the immediate result. You turn on a light switch, and you get light. That’s it. Me, on the other hand? I like to complicate things. I’ve always considered myself a "nuts and bolts" kind of person. Whatever I’m looking at, I see it as a whole. It isn’t the light switch that creates the light; it’s the organized circuits behind it. I’ve always thought this was one of the reasons a job as a line producer was so appealing to me. The job in itself is somewhat like a giant jigsaw puzzle.
