Responsible for:* Managing the customer interface on a day-to-day basis involving progress updates, quotes,product information and general enquiries.* Order entry and updating the appropriate MRP and S&OP information to enable thedevelopment of production schedules to meet customer deadlines.* Raising purchase orders for raw materials based on MRP and production forecasts.* Production scheduling taking into account production, raw material and staff availability.* Stock management to ensure product availability and minimum working capitalrequirements.

Leading the assembly line and quality control departments at the Deeside site.* Organising the work plan so that orders and targets were met in the most efficient and timeeffective manner.* Raw materials procurement and organising customer logistics.* HR activities including temporary staff management, time recording and training.

My duty was to ensure that the metallised and polymer-coated products, which are widely used inthe cosmetics and consumer goods markets, were of a high quality. I developed a good awareness ofthe importance of process quality control in ensuring customer requirements are met.
