Works closely with judges, commissioners, representatives of legal offices, law enforcement, communities, and governmental agencies. Performs a wide variety of legal clerical support work requiring knowledge and understanding of court functions, legal statutes and rules, legal terminology, policies and procedures, reviews documents, researches discrepancies and verifies information. Also, prepares daily court calendars and/or pleadings before the court, prepares orders and judgments, maintains court files, attends court hearings and prepares case minutes. In court, administers oath, receives and maintains custody of trial exhibits submitted into evidence.
