In my current role I am responsible for maintaining 9 active suppliers on a Government FAR based contract. Sources, submits, and negotiates competitive bids for a range of parts to minimize cost and schedule conflicts to benefit the company and the customer. Ensures all purchase orders placed conform to FAR and DFAR regulations with an individual purchase authority of $250K. Central contact for AS southern region for the management of a supplier that had significant financial, sourcing, and delivery issues; and successfully guided the supplier through re-onboarding while mitigating risk to the company, and three separate program schedules. Drafts and edits purchase and change orders of varying costs using the SAP system. Able to effectively status up the chain of command in situations such as Red to Green plans, and high cost supplier issues.
