My role within Peak Test is Sales Administrator. I am profoundly involved in sales and marketing. We provide specialist electronic components to various business sectors. Ensuring our customers and my colleagues are aware of the latest test solutions is also within my role, something I find really enjoyable and interesting. This industry has expanded a huge deal since I started the role back in 2007. Being up to date with new solutions is key within my sales role. As well as my sales experience, I adhere to our marketing campaigns and strategies. I ensure accurate and relevant information is passed onto our large database of customers which also results in sales.I have experience in using Microsoft programs, SAGE, Maximizer CRM, and Mailchimp.

Having completed my level 2 NVQ in business administration, my main duties included dealing with telephone enquires, receiving incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, faxing, emailing, updating and maintaining Excel Spreadsheets and dealing with client lists. I also undertook filing, typing up accounts using Excel and arranging appointments. I was responsible for composing Limited companies and working with Companies House. I produced invoices using Sage 200. I was also responsible for updating our Sage client list. Deadlines were key within this job being in the accountancy business therefore I learned a great deal managing my work within a specific time period which helped me progress in my career path.

I continued to grow my administration duties within this role by providing customer service via telephone calls and emails. Microsoft skills were also improved by the daily use of excel which assisted in the day to day work load provided to further employees.
