I teach both adolescent and adult students in weekly lessons, preparing individual lesson plans tailored for each student. I research methods of learning different aspects of musical theory, games to help younger students learn, and assign weekly worksheets and exercises. I try to create a comfortable and fun learning environment for students, letting them learn at their own pace while still reinforcing elementary concepts and providing structured schedules.

Part-time job at the front desk of the gym, signing guests in and providing any amenities. I have an excellent working knowledge of the equipment at the gym and assist guests with its usage, and ensure the building is clean and machines are constantly wiped down

My main task is to manage Box Office staff during productions and to communicate with the stage manager to make sure the front of house is taken care of. I ensure the front of house is organized and make announcements for patrons over the intercom, and help them troubleshoot any issues they may have. I also sell tickets to patrons, oversee Will Call, and perform usher duties on nights I am not managing. During the week, I perform general clerical duties and sell tickets to patrons.

I worked under Matthew Prull, PhD. to conduct research on the Attentional Boost Effect. I assisted in recruiting participants from Walla Walla, and tested participants throughout the summer. I also became very familiar with current research on the Attentional Boost Effect and informed participants of the background of the phenomenon and purpose of the experiment. I also assisted in analyzing results using SPSS and discussed future implications of the findings.

My team and I worked with graduate students from the California Institute of Technology to employ artificial photosynthesis through the use of rare and common semimetal conductors. We attended two academic conferences per year to present research, hearing from experts from institutions such as Stanford and Harvard, and from other student teams around the Los Angeles area.

My team and I designed an experiment involving telomere growth in yeast. We worked with a faculty advisor and under researchers from City of Hope to complete the project. We competed with student teams across the country to have our experiment sent up to the ISS, and presented our findings in Washington, DC at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum during the summer of 2014.
