-Facilitates planning for outreach events, leader formation, and immersion into the Appalachian region during Spring Break-Communicates with supervisor, colleagues, leaders, and participants regarding APEX and ensures clarity of plans and visions for the program

I engaged with and welcomed those into my choir community. I collaborated with my fellow leaders in order to create the best choir experience for those involved.

In this role, I am beginning to research ways to make the health care environment more sensory friendly in order to make health care accessible to those on the autism spectrum. I work with an ever-growing team made up of medical students, autism knowledgeable doctorates of Occupational Therapy part of Jefferson Autism Center of Excellence, as well as medical doctors at Nemours Children's Health clinics. I plan to pursue this research when I attend Sidney Kimmel Medical College next year.
