Consultants are appointed by English faculty to sharpen and develop the processes of effective and creative writing with students.- Advise student writers of all levels of experience in need of editorial and creative writing assistance by suggesting proper writing techniques to improve academic essays and research papers. - Collaborate with students to hone their individual creative voice, encouraging them to go beyond the utility of writing. Establish a strong rapport with students and create a welcoming space for intellectual curiosity and dialogue. - Lead and host bi-annual conference in which student writers present their work to peers and consultants.

Wheaton Admissions Counselor Assistants lead information sessions on and off campus, conduct admission interviews, represent Wheaton off-campus and are equipped to walk with prospective students through the entire admissions process.- Produced and edited recruitment materials for prospective students and college fair visits. Maintained consistent follow-up communication with hundreds of prospective students resulting in improved enrollment levels. - Created space for dialogue regarding issues related to diversity, social dynamics, and the complexities of living in a major metropolitan area.

A twelve person team dedicated to event planning and community building for the largest underclassmen dormitory on campus. - Spearheaded the planning and execution of dorm-wide events for 500+ residents and smaller localized events for halls of 45 residents to facilitate a deeper sense of community. - Established strategic project timelines, logistics, and oversaw their efficient completion. Camp Brookwoods and Deer Run offers outdoor adventure programs and builds community over two-week to one month terms.- Oversee and coordinate program curriculum for high school youth from varying backgrounds. This program is meant to foster a greater sense of responsibility, maturity, and communication through the utilization of outdoor leadership skills.- Support campers’ mental, emotional, and physical health through leading outdoor activities intended to animate and cultivate healthy lifestyle habits and strong relationships within a diverse community.
