I am a current third year clinical veterinary student at UTCVM pursuing a doctorate of veterinary medicine. Veterinary medicine has enveloped my life, and with educational, clinical, and employment opportunities my passion for the field has grown. In 2021 I completed my Bachelor of Science in agriculture with a focus on veterinary sciences at the University of Tennessee at Martin. I am continuing my education in veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine with a graduation date of May 2025. I have gained so much experience and knowledge through my years of working at a mixed animal private practice in east Tennessee. My areas of keen interest in veterinary medicine have evolved into equine internal medicine, lameness, dentistry, reproduction, and preventative medicine. I also enjoy bovine and small ruminant medicine. I believe with my personal history with equine and farm animal species, experiences of private practice employment, and the wonderful education I'm receiving from UTCVM I will hopefully contribute to the large animal veterinary field in the near future.
