Analytical, proactive and a strong visual communicator, I see design problems, show them to others, and collaborate to solve them. Since 2022, I have worked as a service designer in Scottish Government. I believe in building stronger communities through designing for social good, a thread which often runs through my work and recent roles. I was previously a graphic designer in the third and public sector, 2016-2021. I have experience in inclusive and accessible design, sustainable design practices, fashion design, tutoring and facilitation, and customer service. Inventive, adaptable and multi-skilled, my multi-disciplinary background gives me a unique approach as a designer. I enjoy using my knowledge and skills in a creative and challenging environment, whilst continually learning and developing my abilities. I thrive in roles across service, graphic and fashion design; marketing and customer experience; community arts; or, even better, roles which include them all.

This required the mapping of user journeys, storyboarding of scenarios and blueprinting of the service to visual communicate problem spaces; and the facilitation of ideation and co-creating prototypes to provide design solutions. I worked closely with user researchers, content designers, business analysts and product teams to do so.I was involved in the development of designs for contacting clients over the phone, centring user needs when clients payments are suspended and keeping in touch with clients over the duration of their relationship with Social Security Scotland.
