Technical advisor to Ministries of Health Neglected Tropical Diseases Programme Directors to plan and implement mass drug administration campaigns and help develop national NTD strategic master plans. Setup national control programmes for Schistosomiasis and Soil-transmitted helminths in Ivory Coast and Democratic Republic of Congo with the National Ministries of Health.Train and oversee national research institutions to independently monitor programme performance (through coverage surveys), impact of the programme (parasitological surveys) and quality of the data collected (DQA surveys). Responsible for overseeing the implementation of schistosomiasis and soil transmitted helminth control programme through managing planned activities, monitoring annual budgets against activities and going to the field to supervise on the ground activities. Lead annual planning process and negotiate contracts with Ministries of Health and Ministries of Education. Write donor reports as well as hold regular status update meetings with the donors. Lead and represent SCI on the Paediatric Praziquantel Consortium (a public - private partnership) and a co-applicant on EDCTP grant for Phase III clinical trials. Supervised MSc Student for their summer project at Imperial College.

In November 2012, I was awarded the MRC Centenary Early Career Award, which provided 7 months of additional research support in London for building on existing MRC-funded work, which I started towards the end of my PhD. This work consists of using the BIAcore to determine the avidity of malaria-specific antibodies in different transmission settings.
