It is our aim to offer courses at a cost-effective rate to other organisations and to members of the public. I am responsible for being the main reliable source for NCC Training, as such my main duties involve scheduling courses/events, working and negotiating with training providers, placing delegate bookings, handling customer inquiries right up to processing the payment. Making sure booking a course runs smoothly for delegates from start to finish, my involvement in between are admin duties such as customer queries/emails, quoting, financing, customer service, digital marketing, consistently updating clientele, website design and maintaining our relationship with training providers. Other areas of involvement within the IT department are project and procurement support. Nottingham City Council refurbish and sell old IT equipment within the council due to our refresh program that is in place. I have helped build & wipe devices in preparation for sale as well as organise bookings for payment and collections. My IT Procurement support involves mainly admin duties with raised invoicing, obtaining purchase card responsibility, gathering, and logging sale reports, sourcing information and quoting. Showing a great deal of diverse commitment within different areas of our IT department, has continuously progressed my written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills, having a pro-active approach as well as taking ownership and resolving issues. Sarah’s role at present is predominantly as a Sales Assistant on the furnishing fabrics department with duties such as cutting fabric, stock controlling, learning about like for like figures, profit and budgets of the department she is on, calculating, aiding customers, quoting prices, Visual merchandising, and selling the services we offer. In addition, due to her design background,Sarah has also helped in design advisory, due to putting together visual displays and presentations to promote the home design service to the customers.
