Teacher Of The DeafChild'S Voice School Jun 2005 - PresentTeaching students who are deaf and hard of hearing, language, speech, and academics at the Kindergarten and First Grade levels. I also teach the students how to trouble shoot their devices (hearing aid, cochlear implants and FM systems). In addition, I teach the students in a Self-Advocacy class so that they know how to use repair strategies as well as how to interact with their peers and teachers in a socially appropriate manner. My goal is to prepare them for their entrance into the mainstream schools by First or Second Grade.
