Just completed my final semester of university & am working full-time as the Marketing Manager at NE1 Spirits. I am also the founder of Capture Media, a small marketing company. In these positions, I create content, take photos & videos, manage social media accounts, & more. I started my journey in the hospitality industry, in high school where I worked at John's Restaurant; family owned. I hosted, served, managed cash, & trained new employees. During this job, I gained time management & etiquette skills that I actively use in interactions today.Continuing in the hospitality industry, specifically the alcohol beverage industry, I was a Brand Ambassador for Cowbell Brewing Co. In this role, I was fortunate to work alongside and learn from sales representatives and marketing coordinators in Southern-Ontario.In high school, I attained a part-time position at Riversite Realty Inc. II and returned last summer where I was further trained. I gained accounting knowledge, office administrative skills, & took part in my first marketing position. One successful advertising campaign I implemented, gained thousands of interactions & connected Riversite to the community. During this campaign, I updated their previous branding and managed their social media accounts. I definitively found my passion for marketing in this job and decided to open my own marketing company. I purchased my drone & began with real estate, videography & photography. Since then I've met and worked with incredible people and companies all over Southern Ontario. I am so grateful for everything I've accomplished and it wouldn't be possible without the ongoing support from these companies, my friends, family & everyone I've met along the way.Another experience I had last summer, was being a part of the opening of Glasstown Brewery. I served tables, worked events, and was a bartender. There are many learning curves in new businesses and working here allowed me to take on responsibilities & strengthen my problem-solving skills. During a shift at Glasstown, an NE1 Spirits sales representative came in and I mentioned my previous experience in the industry & we ended up connecting. He turned out to be the owner of NE1 Spirits and I've been enjoying my time working here ever since. In this position, I've been exploring my graphic design skills, perfecting my photography skills, & learning so much about entrepreneurial small businesses. I cannot wait for what's to come!
