Duties include: supervising daily service and guest experience, coordinate and execute all event details for private dining room and restaurant wide events, event contract negotiations and revisions, daily cash reconciliations, labour management, social media, promotional materials, digital marketing design (Adobe Suites), website maintenance, menu coordination and design, AV, staff hiring and training, scheduling, POS programming, Open Table training.Highlights: • Planned 37 events in 1 month over the Christmas season• Over 200 events annually, including a large amount of repeat business • Steady increase in bookings from year to year• Responsible for planning and managing restaurant wide events, such as the Golden Tap Awards, the annual closing event for Toronto Beer Week.• Co-coordinated Belgian Beer Day 2015 (reviewed at: www.searchingforapples.com/2015/04/04/cheers-its-belgian-beer-day/)• Planned a custom event, including an original menu with Belgian beer pairings, for the Belgian Trade Commission in April, 2013 to celebrate Belgian produce showcased at The Canadian Produce Marketing Association Convention in Toronto.

In this role I completed three successful grant applications, revisions to a corporate sponsorship package and most fun of all, many press releases for local musicians.
