As an experienced Compliance generalist, I enjoy the variety the role brings, and provide support and assistance to the business to create and maintain an environment in which we can comply with its regulatory obligations. Specific duties and responsibilities include:- Forming good working relationships with various business areas, including all office locations for the delivery of information, Compliance communications and training as appropriate- Providing compliance technical expertise and knowledge into projects within the business, and dealing with day-to-day compliance issues- Assisting with AML & financial sanctions duties, the complaint management processes, and reviewing marketing material and approving financial promotions, including client facing disclosure documents- Monitoring FSA and other industry publications, communicating changes in regulations, company policies and procedures to all levels of the firm- Assisting with the preparation and submission of all required regulatory forms, reports and returns, including those relevant to professional standards- Assisting with the provision of all aspects of regulatory training within the relevant business areas, and- Maintaining Compliance Registers and analysing data to assist in the provision of management information.

An operational Compliance role, and developed over a number of years with Bluefin's changing business propositions, providing the business with Compliance knowledge & expertise. Responsible for the co-ordination & maintenance of the Compliance Manual and T&C Scheme, review & approval of financial promotions, interpretation of FSA rules & guidance and producing regulatory bulletins to summarise developments, and regulatory reporting for all companies within the wealth management division.
