My role with EST is based at Ricoh Arena in Coventry. As a company we manage both the on and off site traffic management for the Arena, as well as having played an integral part in the traffic management for the Rugby World Cup and 2012 Olympics here in the UK. We are now expanding our services to include EST Executive which is a chauffeur car service, along with many other projects.

My key role here is driving new members into the business, through both leisure & business events. I am responsible for new business development through various outreach & call based activities. Developing relationships with local businesses, setting up referral schemes with local hotels... All incoming enquiries were my responsibility to convert. Effective communication with the entire casino team is imperative to ensure that all events run smoothly. Examples of events run include - BNI networking on a weekly basis, conferences for Cadbury, Tesco etc... G's Got Talent Heat's & Grand Final, Comedy Nights, Ladies Nights, Be Gorgeous (large ladies shopping event). We also hosted large charity fundraising events for various charities, both local & national.

This role involves everything from daily sales management, analysing figures and reports, setting staff targets, carrying out appraisals, recruiting and training new staff members, increasing profitability, maintaining the highest level of customer service, working to high targets etc... It is a very fast paced, target driven environment - whilst ensuring that our customers are treated with the very best level of care and service. I am also a Regional Trainer carrying out training courses for 27 shops in our region.

Being responsible for the care, safety and security of up to 200 passengers and 7 crew members. Being the face of the company and providing the highest levels of customer service. Dealing with inflight medical emergencies, customer complaints and anything else that may occur. Working extremely long hours, sometimes reporting at 3am - other times finishing at 3am. Maintaining a professional and efficient service at all times.
