Working in Dublin Bus head office at the customer service desk the main face to face contact with customers. During my 3 and a half years on the desk I dealt with numerous queries regarding bus timetables, changes to routes as well as ticket queries. Due to changes involved with Network Direct as well as the implementation of the Leap Card there where many daily and weekly changes to adapt to. I also worked in the Booking Office selling tickets, as well as spending a summer working on the Standard Fares which involved collecting fines and attending court on behalf of Dublin Bus.

Jurys Inn Head Office - Dublin

As part of my 4 year Tourism Marketing course I undertook a six month internship in the marketing department of Jurys Inn – one of Ireland and the UK’s leading chain hotels. As part of my role as marketing intern was to help with the upkeep of their presence on Google maps, update their Facebook and twitter pages, help with and design advertisements and posters for www.jurysinns.com, their 31 hotels, as well as designing and looking after competitions in national papers and magazines and helping the competition winners. I also helped with customer complaints and queries for a short period during my internship and working with all hotels to ensure that these queries and complaints where resolved and followed up.
