With over 20 years of experience in various technical roles in the software product life cycle, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in improving processes and communications between business partners, product managers, and technology teams. As the Director of Site Reliability Engineering at Chegg, I led a team of 10-15 FTEs and 20-30 contractors to support 24x7 incident response, incident management, change management, and observability and reliability services for applications, services, and shared data platforms, on-prem and in AWS cloud.My mission is to advance observability, governance, and reliability within the design of core architecture and to enhance CI/CD and observability practices with compliance automation.
