Ensuring Halls of Residence are maintained, clean and ready for over 7100 students at the start of each academic year, being proactive in filling voids throughout the year to the targets set. Providing high level Customer Service to enhance our Students experience in halls, and managing teams efficiently in order to deliver the best service possible.I also have a key role in all reactive and long term maintenance projects ensuring delivery is met within budget.I am the operational lead for Residences on New build projects, and recently led the team responsible for delivering Mayflower Halls of residence in Southampton city centre and City Gateway in swaythling and the new Chamberlain halls. This role includes close liaison with contractors to ensure smooth delivery, making decisions on fixtures and fittings, communicating effectively to key stakeholders, and making sure the student experience is in the centre of everything we decide. I lead on much of the stakeholder management and engagement within our department. I am also involved with our procurement team in ensuring tender documents reflect what services we require for external contractors, and ensuring Service Level agreements are in place and adhered to.
