The Young Scholars program is an initiative of ACC's Academic Cardiology Member Section and local State Chapters that aims to provide promising young students with an introduction to the field of cardiology and strengthen the pipeline of talent for the future. Students gain valuable insights into the world of cardiology, learning from top health professionals, and exploring cutting-edge research and advancements in the field.The program will kick off virtually in April 2023, and continue throughout the year with regularly scheduled webinars. Students will then be paired with a mentor of the ACC to work on a research project.

Committee Objectives:- To create and maintain a network of medical school sections to accomplish grassroots advocacy.- To advance key student issues through educational initiatives at each national meeting.- To assist with grassroots campaigns for specific Medical Student Section priority issues by providing strategy, sample letters, talking points and additional information and resources.
