I work to provide connections between educators in the Champaign County and the Ag Industry. Much of my time "in the field" is spent teaching and training students and teachers about the critical importance of agriculture to their lives. That means that I am in the hundreds of classrooms of Champaign County teaching creative lessons to students of all ages. I also provide a Summer Ag Institute that county teachers can take for professional development. Agribusiness leaders, U of I researchers and experts, and local farmers connect with teachers giving them information and ideas that they can incorporate into their curriculum.
