As project coordinator for the CCECJ, I oversee eight diverse teams, ensuring efficient project management and timely deliverables. The projects I manage include developing an anti-colonial map highlighting toxic industries and climate change impacts in BIPOC communities across Canada, championing the passage of Bill C-226 (Canada’s first environmental justice bill), and contributing to initiatives related to a national environmental justice strategy.Beyond project management, I engage in government relations, partner engagement, internal communications, and social media campaigns. Additionally, I serve as the editor-in-chief of our newsletter which highlighted diverse voices through a team of BIPOC and youth contributors.Key achievements in this role include playing a key role in advocating for the passage of Canada's first environmental justice law through letters, releases, petitions and meetings. Similarly, I have led national events highlighting critical environmental justice issues, including the recent celebration marking the passage of the Environmental Justice Strategy Act. I have guided the team through the final stages of launching our website, launching & publishing impactful CCECJ newsletters. I’ve played a leading role in organizing, coordinating, and facilitating various online events, including a discussion on the national EJ strategy with government representatives which had 100+ attendees.

In my role as writer and constituency assistant for MP Elizabeth May, I drafted submissions for federal government consultations, engaging in policy analysis and proposals. Topics included the federal single-use plastic ban, net-zero emissions, clean electricity standard, nuclear waste, EVs, and aquaculture. I drafted letters to federal Ministers and the Prime Minister on key issues. I organized the parliamentary committee schedule for MP May and attended committees and prepared briefings reports. I assisted the Constituency Coordinator with running the constituency office, including intake for case files, answering calls, office administration duties and being the first point of contact for community members. I assisted with running community meetings/ town halls. I staffed MP May in meetings with NGOs, stakeholders, and interest groups. I coordinated and wrote email/mail correspondence to constituents and community organziations. I assisted constituents with parliamentary petitions. I was responsible for petty cash and liaising with advertisers. I was in regular communication with MP May's parliamentary office staff and the Green Caucus through caucus meetings and coordinated efforts.

Parliamentary intern for Member of Parliament Elizabeth May. Provided support to Parliamentary staff and MP. Attended committees, wrote and delivered committee briefs, specifically Finance Committee (FINA) during pre-budget consultations and the Committee on the Environment and Sustainable Development (ENVI). Assisted the management of constituent and ministerial correspondence and creating templates. Attended lobbyist and stakeholder meetings with MP. Worked with parliamentary research assistant to develop petitions. Drafted letters to Ministers.

Responsible for planning the activity program for groups of international students during their stay with EF Victoria over several weeks (15-50+ students). Organized and led group on various activities such as tours, paddle boarding, whale watching, and visiting sites around the city and cross-cultural activities with 100+ students.

The Trinity Refugee Awareness Campaign (TRAC) is a student led NGO that aims to create awareness and respond to the global refugee crisis. TRAC has raised $100,000, mobilized 164 volunteers and facilitated 20 events since 2017. As the volunteer coordinator assistant for TRAC, some of my responsibilities included:-Creating and maintaining relationship with organizations that are working with the refugee community in the Langley-Surrey area.-Working closely with the leadership at the New Hope Community Services Society, which provides housing and services for refugee families. -Mobilizing student volunteers as mentors/tutors for children living in New Hope housing.-Providing support and liaison for university students who have been connected with organizations working with the refugee community.

As a Peer Instructor, hired through the Transitions Program at Trinity Western University, my role included: teaching FNDS 101 (University credit course) twice a week to a class of 20+ students. Creating weekly lesson plans and attending weekly small group meetings with other student leaders and the Director of Transitions Program. Coordinating and leading Fall Work Day (service project day in the community with 30+ participants). Attend SLOW leadership training (week-long training program). Being a campus resource expert and maintain relationship with students, leaders, and Director.
