I've been a vet for over 20 years and I can't imagine a better profession to work in - I still love it! I started my own business and provide mobile ultrasound, cardiology and advanced medicine services to practices; I'm also an entrepreneur, a blogger and a writer. My passion is helping people in the veterinary sphere to give the best they can through mindset shifts, skills and tools, and support. And I have too many ideas for the amount of time available so would love to partner with those to achieve shared dreams.I love bringing the art into medicine, both literally and figuratively. I get my kicks in the consulting room from helping pet guardians to understand what is happening, what their options are and to collaborate on a plan for action. I enjoy teaching and mentoring, and exchanging ideas and coaching in return, so I love bringing colleagues on the journey towards better understanding themselves. I am passionate about helping vet bring ultrasonography into their daily work and helping more pets in a faster more efficient way. I am innately curious about many things including how we can improve how we work. I am passionate about improving safety of care and psychological safety in the places we work.Literally, my art has taken me to a year-long crafting project on bumblebees - my Plan Bee Project - focusing on capturing the nature of British bumblebees through craft and art.
