Experienced technology product management leader, entrepreneur, sociotechnical researcher and policy advisor with cross-sector expertise spanning academia, industry and government. Currently, as a TechCongress Senior Congressional Innovation Fellow, I serve as a tech policy advisor in the U.S. Congress. My Ph.D. research focused on internet governance and online information access, and the sociotechnical mechanisms of circumventing online censorship in Turkey. I'm a Teach for America alum, former digital and media literacy teacher, and a dedicated manager, mentor and sponsor. I hold a PhD in Film & Media Studies, MBA in Strategy & Marketing, and MSEd in Educational Leadership.
