During my graduate studies, I founded the Bench to Bedside Initiative (BBI). BBI builds teams around patented technologies at Weill Cornell Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Rockefeller University. We facilitate relationships with investors from government, for- and non-profit organizations. Our efforts have resulted in the creation of several seed-funded startups.

I was a graduate student in the Weill Cornell Medical College Neuroscience program and a member of the Lorenz Studer laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. For my collaborative thesis research project, I combined approaches from the pluripotent stem cell field (Lorenz Studer lab) and medicinal chemistry field (Gabriela Chiosis lab) to study how human patient pluripotent stem cell derived dopaminergic neurons respond to Parkinsonian stressors.
