I currently work as a Project Manager in the Solution and Implementations department within Finance & Administration. I manage and deliver a number of projects mainly including software development and implementation.

I previously worked for Sheffield Children’s Hospital within the PMO, The PMO team is part of an on-going plan for business change and improvement, to provide quality care to patients but to also make efficiency savings where possible. The programme for 15/16 is made up of 24 different projects, which I provide support for. Responsibilities•The initial point of contact for the projects at all levels•Conduct data analysis in preparation for reporting•Use and update SharePoint•Assist the PMO with the planning and delivery of projects•Attend meetings and follow up actions•Create and update programme and project documentation•Manage financial trackers•Monitor and analyse the benefits and risks associated with a project.Key Achievements•Within 12 weeks I took on the responsibility of creating, developing and implementing a team SharePoint site.•Been heavily involved in the programme planning stage e.g. conducting Stakeholder Analysis and producing the documentation.•I take full responsibility of the day to day running of the office which includes organising events, travel, meetings etc., in addition to my current role.•Monitor and update the Transformation! log and communicate it to the wider team.•Analyse and report on weekly targeted and actual data across different divisions.•Completing a Level 2 Microsoft Excel course.

In this particular role I worked with the Head of Project and Programme Management and Project Managers to ensure the timely delivery of large complex projects from initiation through to closure. The projects were IT focused and included PSTN line and WAN/LAN installations, server upgrades and router rollouts. I also independently managed smaller projects. I was able to be extremely successful in this position as it played to my strengths of organising and taking ownership of projects, problems solving, prioritising and most importantly dealing with different professionals at all levels. My natural ability to understand the task at hand, preempt/prevent any risks that could occur and using my own initiative allowed me to competently coordinate and lead a successful project team.
