- In-house role advising national infrastructure owner on opportunities to reduce its liabilities and achieve internal efficiencies. - Lead negotiator and consents advisor on projects working collaboratively with Project Managers, Sponsor's, Property Services, Town Planning and Contractors. - Worked on management teams to develop Land and Consents strategies on major projects. - Project managed delivery of consents programmes in relation to specific works programmes. - Provided statutory and contractual legal advice on the Companies obligations and liabilities to third parties. - Where appropriate instructed and liasised with external solicitors and Counsel. - Agreed Heads of Terms and implemented a range of contracts including Deeds of Release, easements and acquisition of land. - Managed negotiations and implemented relevant contracts for the reduction of liabilities including asset transfers and maintenance agreements resulting in company savings. - Advising and updating senior staff.
