Hi! I'm Sarah Marsh (she/they), and my goal is to amplify locally-led initiatives and build more sustainable and resilient communities through the use of an intersectional feminist praxis. I am a certified project management specialist with M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution and over 4 years of experience in award and program management, knowledge management, qualitative research design and analysis, and financial reporting. I am currently working for Hometown Urgent Care as their Program Manager of Outreach and Engagement. I am working with them to build their online and in-person presence in order to better meet the health needs of the Ohio community. Conflict resolution is needed everywhere - in community development, in business optimization, in DEI, prevention and outreach initiatives, and in our everyday lives. I believe that conflicts occur when systems become unsustainable and inevitably break down. My mission is to amplify community voices because no one knows a conflict better than the people living it every day. When we bring an intersectional feminist mindset to our core systems like NGOs, government organizations, and education, we can begin to address systemic barriers and build communities that thrive.I am based in Boston, MA and enjoy scenic hiking, kayaking, painting, and reading. I am very passionate about the development of sustainable peace through conflict resolution, urban development & housing equity, gender mainstreaming, queer and trans rights, and accessibility. In addition to my full-time work, I also work in housing mediation with Just Mediation PGH to help prevent evictions through a restorative justice framework.
