Worked on-sites as a general labourer with this particular construction company working as part of a multi-cultural, multi-generational workforce. Progressed from general labouring tasks such as general upkeep of the site, tramming blocks and counting trucks to taking on a more central role in the block team, getting trained in fall protection and taking on a leadership position in the installation of the pre load exterior walls and the more foundational work of grading, levelling and preparing the trench sites alongside excavators. I have recently completed a supervising for safety course with WorkSafe BC and have been trained in physical and psychological safety in the workplace as well as receiving training in quality control for the rapid impact piers division of our company.

Continued Lifeguarding in the locality until the end of September before moving to Vancouver in October.

The job involved interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, working as part of a team, ensuring the cinema screens are kept in order and managing money at the tills. In 2018 I was promoted to supervisor where the additional duties were to manage the team that is on the floor that day while also managing the finances upstairs and communicating with different providers, companies and managerial staff at the end of the night as well as statistic work and spreadsheets on the computer.

As part of my undergraduate degree I completed a semester of work placement with which I was involved in physical activity programs from planning stage to the evaluation stage working with the target groups of men, women, older adults, teenage girls, young children, pupils in school and disability groups. I attended training courses and co-facilitated a multi activity children's midterm camp. I also attended meetings with local sports partnerships from around Ireland and Comhairle na NOg's AGM, facilitating ice breakers with young adults. Other duties included IT work using programs like excel, word, Salesforce, the intranet, Eventbrite and sendmode for administration purposes and flikr, Facebook and movie maker for promotional purposes.
