    I am currently the Visitor Centre and Community Benefits Officer for the Beddington Energy Recovery Facility (ERF). I am in charge of showing visitors around the ERF and coordinating their visit. My job role also includes: Liaising directly with members of the public over the phone and via email. Making sure all the necessary paperwork and safety documents have been received and filed away. Making sure all documents are kept up to date. Being familiar with GDPR in order to protect our visitor’s data. Adding to a monthly report on how many visitors the site is receiving. Taking responsibility in planning and creating materials to be used in presentations to the public. Working collectively with other teams on site to coordinate visits. Administrating the community benefit fund coordinating meetings with local Councillors and residents.Setting up meeting rooms. Collating data and applications for the fund and sharing this with the panel. Preparing the agenda, taking and sharing the minutes for the community benefits meeting. Going offsite to visit projects that have applied to our community benefits fund to show our support. Attending the community liaison group meeting quarterly.Being involved in the creation of our Visitor Centre at Beddington. Being part of creating the Virtual Visitor Centre for the Beddington ERF, an online website showing how the ERF works. Creation of the graphic information panels which are to be displayed in the visitor centre. Getting amendments from stakeholders and passing all the information after quality checking it to the design team. I have been involved in keeping track of the budget for the visitor centre fit out. ordering stock on our company procurement system and set up requisitions for payment to suppliers that have offered a service to us. I am first aid trained.
