As the Vice President of People at private equity backed New Charter Technologies, I am responsible for aligning the organization's people with its long-term strategic vision in a highly acquisitive, rapidly growing business. Our low integration M+A model ensures that our partner companies maintain the things that make them special while gaining the benefits of scale that come from being part of New Charter. Our partner companies, all leading Managed Service Providers, are highly aligned but not highly integrated. At New Charter, our supportive culture and decentralized, coordinated structure provide scale benefits, financial depth, shared knowledge/resources, and accelerated growth. In my role as the leader of our People function, I provide executive-level leadership and guidance to partner companies within a highly matrixed organization structure. My focus is on providing centralized support and functionality to our operators, enhancing people practices throughout the portfolio, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals. Before joining New Charter, I served as Vice President of People at Greystone Technology, where I was responsible for all facets of people and culture. I implemented the company's first-ever strategic compensation plan, transitioned from an outsourced HR model to an internal one, and achieved an average time to hire of 29 days in 2019 while being responsible for full-cycle recruiting in an extremely tight job market. I also worked with the owners on strategic organizational development and optimization during a pivotal year for the company's growth after taking on a large investment. My career started in the apartment industry with 13 years of progressively responsible roles at Carmel Partners, where I truly learned the power of aligning business and People needs at scale. With near-constant acquisitions and dispositions occurring, I built significant experience integrating newly acquired teams and assets. I'm passionate about aligning People's careers with business needs to create positive outcomes for all. I love being part of progressive environments where people and businesses can thrive together.
