Experienced in retail with a demonstrated history of working in the industry. Skilled in operations management, customer service, sales, retail, and continuous improvement. I am a professional with two Associate's Degrees focusing in Marketing and Business Management; both from Fox Valley Technical College. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, visiting new places and painting anything I can get my hands on. I have enjoyed art since I was a child and would love to gain employment in an area where I can use those skills. I have also volunteered as a painter for Tundraland's annual 'Windows for a Cause' event. While in school at Fox Valley Technical College, I accepted an invitation to work with the school's BizSquad team. This team is a student led group, who seek projects from local small businesses and nonprofits. Once the team meets with and identifies potential projects, those that are felt to be attainable with the skill set possessed by the student group are chosen. In the semester I was with BizSquad, I worked closely with B.A.B.E.S Inc, and Jumpstart Auto Repair; a respite care and counselling provider and an auto garage that works in partnership with Harbor House to help domestic abuse survivors with their car repairs, respectively. This was an eye opening experience as I learned how much my values align with the missions of these two companies. Much of my time was spent on graphic design, social media marketing and marketing research.
