During my 8-month Co-op Work Term with OMAFRA, my primary role was to research foreign markets for trends and data. This information would help Ontario's food producers and processors determine if there is a strong market outside of Canada for their products, what trends other countries are facing that would affect their products' sales, and many other factors that would have an impact on exports. Other skills I had the opportunity to develop and enhance include written communication, event planning, oral presentation, networking and client relations.

During my 4-month Co-op Work Term, I researched and developed a competitive analysis of psychiatric health facilities across the province that was used by the Board of Directors for planning and decision making. As part of the planning team, I helped re-brand an existing department and organize the re-launch celebrations. I also helped put together internal communications pieces such as newsletters, pamphlets and programs.
