Served as a speech-language pathologist in the Waisman Center AAC Program. Provided outpatient and inpatient AAC evaluation services across the lifespan, with emphasis on feature matching to dedicated speech generating devices (SGD). Provided home, community, and school consultation and training for families and teams of children B-21 years who use AAC. Mentored graduate students and clinical fellows in accordance with ASHA requirements for supervision.Co-developed and led the AAC Partnership Program (AAC-PP) which has provided mentorship to school and outpatient SLPs to obtain dedicated SGDs for students, while reducing the waiting list for high-quality feature matching evaluations in Wisconsin. Worked to increase state-wide capacity to provide evidenced-based AAC services by offering virtual education through implementation of ECHO AAC.
