Social Computing Systems (SALT) Lab, led by Dr. Yun Huang- Investigated how visual design in video learning content can be optimized for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals- Revised study materials to implement participants' design suggestions, involving iteration based on the research team's feedback- Developed a comprehensive codebook to assess participants' emotions and engagement while watching educational videos

Cargill Innovation Lab at UIUC Research Park- Collaborated with three interns to conduct 25+ interviews, research industry events, and write/edit articles for the internal blog- Applied agile methodology to manage a backlog of 30+ articles and create engaging content through multiple iterations- Produced digital graphics and copy for the internal website’s landing page, ensuring that it was accurate and updated

Applied Technologies for Learning in the Arts & Sciences (ATLAS)- Refined the ATLAS website using HTML, CSS, and web design skills in the Drupal content management system (CMS)- Created eight news posts, a two-year bulletin archive, and weekly PowerPoint presentations to communicate progress- Researched Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and addressed violations using online accessibility tools
