System Engineer in the Balance of Plant Group:-Responsible for the following BOP systems: Thermal Performance, Heaters Drains and Vents, Post Accident Containment Hydrogen Monitoring, Post Accident Sampling, and Chemical Cleaning. -Completion of Thermal Performance Walkdowns, Missing Megawatt reports, condenser vacuum and generation predictions, cycle isolation valve walkdowns, PEPSE training, and derate loss predictions.-Support of refueling outages including corrective and preventative work scoping and coordination, inspection of Condensers, MSRs, Main Turbines, and Feedwater Heaters.-Completion of NRC Quarterly reporting, INPO Consolidated Data Entry (CDE) Data Steward, Generation reports to AEP corporate, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), PJM Summer and Winter Unit Capability Tests.-Involvement with an extended shutdown for turbine repair, including Turbine System Manager duties for the operating unit and design reviews of Thermal Kit/Heat Balance for interim and new turbine design.
