About Sarah Mcmahon

Hello! I'm Sarah McMahon, a junior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Electrical Engineering and Systems Science and Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. I am passionate about robotics and autonomous vehicles, particularly related to autonomous control systems and how robots interact with and adapt to their environments. Through my work as an undergraduate researcher in the Kantaros Autonomous Vehicle Systems Lab, I have assembled and programmed aerial drones, developing advanced planning and control algorithms for real-world, complex environments. My teaching assistant roles have further honed my technical skills, guiding undergraduates and high school students through ROS programming and autonomous navigation projects. I am eager to contribute my experience in UAV systems and robotics to push the boundaries of what's possible in autonomous technology.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Programming LanguagesJava | Javascript | Python | Bash | MATLABSoftware & EquipmentPSpice | Cypress.io | Microsoft Suite | ROS I & II | Raspberry Pi | Arduino | KiCAD PCB Design | PixHawk | QGroundControl | Ardupilot | Modal AI Drones | Holybro Drones | Soldering
