    This role has changed over the period of 8 years from Office Manager to Operations Manager, that have both included key responsibilities. The variety of the role is what I enjoy and thrive upon.I produce weekly rotas/clinics for all of the Doctors team and Nursing team taking into consideration budget, specific clinics and room availability. There is the need to be very reactive to changes that may affect the rota and ensure the patient care is not compromised.I monitor, approve/decline and upload the doctors team and nursing team annual leave and training. I am the point of contact for all IT, telephony and building related matters. This includes IT and equipment faults, being part of the new telephone system implementation team (Aug 2024), liaising with external and internal providers. I report and record any building issues ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements. There is a variety of IT equipment/software in the surgery so it is vital I am aware of all its functions. I set up all new IT accounts for all new staff and will provide initial IT training. I ensure policies and processes are adhered to in line with CQC requirements. As a Practice we have moved our policies and training records to Practice Index. I have taken the lead with this by liaising with the provider, setting up staff accounts and producing training documents for staff to follow. I am the point of contact for all aspects of death administration including liaison with the coroner, local funeral directors, the Registrar and bereaved families. I produce the weekly bulletin that is emailed to all staff. This is our main communication method for all staff to receive key information. I have previously been responsible for the line management of 11 administration staff to manage and develop including appraisals, training and absence management with the aim to provide a motivated and skilled department.I prioritise my workload accordingly and meet all deadlines
