My job scope includes the following:> Leading and managing engagement teams on audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients in various industries.> Guiding and mentoring team members to enhance their technical knowledge and reviewing their work. Conducting performance appraisals and evaluations of subordinates at the end of each assignment to provide constructive feedback on their personal growth and career progression.> Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to build rapport and deliver added value.> Managing timely billings and collections.> Identifying and assessing areas of significant risk of material misstatements through an understanding of clients and their environments. Discussing audit issues with partners and clients and developing solutions to address these issues.> Managing and monitoring audit engagements to ensure they are completed within the estimated time frame and budgeted costs, yielding satisfactory results.> Communicating with those charged with governance by holding audit planning meetings, audit clearance meetings, and presenting audit findings to audit committees. Additionally, preparing meeting agendas and audit presentation slides for these meetings.> Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of clients' internal controls and providing necessary recommendations for improvements as part of the value-added service.
